Ramp Monitor is an AI-powered application for monitoring and analyzing truck parking times in logistics centers. The system monitors how long trucks are parked at ramps and provides real-time data on ramp occupancy, including information on whether a spot is free or occupied. These valuable insights help optimize parking management, improve planning efficiency, and reduce waiting times, ultimately enhancing the overall operational flow in heavily frequented logistics centers.
The assignment of trucks to loading bays is often difficult because the scheduling is unpredictable. Ad-hoc assignments also require a lot of manual effort. With a real-time dashboard, you can keep an eye on all loading bays and their current status, thereby reducing costly waiting times and increasing throughput. Additionally, you can analyze historical data on cargo space usage to identify patterns and further optimize processes.
How it works
Cameras monitor the loading bays and can capture up to five bays simultaneously. Trucks are recognized even if they are partially covered or distorted. As soon as the occupancy status of a bay changes, it is immediately displayed on the dashboard.
