Deep Learning Solutions Architect (m/f/d)

IKARA Vision Systems is a spin-off from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), focused on transforming cutting-edge research into real-world solutions. Our key areas include visual analytics, real-time deep learning systems, and feasibility studies for industries like retail, Industry 4.0, smart mobility, and security & safety. We’re seeking a Deep Learning Solutions Architect to join our growing team.

Required Qualifications:
– Degree in a STEM field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering).
– 2+ years of experience in a similar role (solutions architect, software engineer, etc.).
– Strong software development skills, especially in Python.
– Deep knowledge of Deep Learning and/or Computer Vision.
– Project management experience, ideally in IT.
– Fluency in English and German (B2 level or higher).
Preferred Skills:
– Proficiency in C++, JavaScript, and experience with automated testing.
– Knowledge of GPU programming (CUDA, OpenGL) and modern web frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React).
– Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), API design, and distributed system architectures.
– Hands-on experience with deep learning models.
