IKARA Vision Systems is a spin-off from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), focused on transforming cutting-edge research into real-world solutions. Our key areas include visual analytics, real-time deep learning systems, and feasibility studies for industries like retail, Industry 4.0, smart mobility, and security & safety. We’re seeking a Deep Learning Solutions Architect to join our growing team.
\nIf you are a motivated individual with a hands-on mentality and have a desire to work on interesting projects at the intersection between cutting-edge research and industrial applications, do not hesitate to apply.<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications:<\/strong>
\n– Degree in a STEM field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering).
\n– 2+ years of experience in a similar role (solutions architect, software engineer, etc.).
\n– Strong software development skills, especially in Python.
\n– Deep knowledge of Deep Learning and\/or Computer Vision.
\n– Project management experience, ideally in IT.
\n– Fluency in English and German (B2 level or higher).<\/p>\n

Preferred Skills:<\/strong>
\n– Proficiency in C++, JavaScript, and experience with automated testing.
\n– Knowledge of GPU programming (CUDA, OpenGL) and modern web frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React).
\n– Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), API design, and distributed system architectures.
\n– Hands-on experience with deep learning models.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n– Design and develop high-performance system architectures and software.
\n– Work across the full technology stack, from concept to deployment.
\n– Manage and coordinate internal and external projects.
\n– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
\n– Customize and adapt solutions to meet specific user needs.<\/p>\n
